Program Learning Outcomes
- To provide sufficient knowledge in mathematics, natural sciences, and discipline-specific engineering topics, and to equip students with the ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge to complex engineering problems.
- To develop the ability to identify, define, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems, and to enable students to select and apply appropriate analytical and modeling methods for this purpose.
- To equip students with the ability to design a complex system, process, device, or product that meets specific requirements under realistic constraints and conditions, and to apply modern design methodologies in this context.
- To develop the ability to create, select, and use modern techniques and tools necessary for analyzing and solving complex engineering problems, and to use information technologies effectively.
- To provide the ability to design and conduct experiments, collect data, analyze and interpret results for the investigation of complex engineering problems or discipline-specific research topics.
- To develop the ability to work effectively in intra-disciplinary and multidisciplinary teams, as well as to work independently.
- To equip students with effective oral and written communication skills in Turkish, knowledge of at least one foreign language, the ability to prepare and understand technical reports, design and production documentation, deliver effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
- To instill awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning, and to develop the ability to access information, follow scientific and technological developments, and continuously improve oneself.
- To foster adherence to ethical principles, awareness of professional and ethical responsibility, and knowledge of standards used in engineering practices.
- To provide knowledge about professional practices such as project management, risk management, and change management; and to raise awareness of entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development.
- To develop awareness regarding the impacts of engineering applications on health, environment, and safety at universal and societal levels, knowledge of contemporary issues reflected in the engineering profession, and awareness of the legal consequences of engineering solutions.
